An update on our busy lives...

Hello!

It sounds like there have been some pretty cool vacations! Hope all is well for everyone. As for me, Spencer and I went on a trip last week with his family and grandparents. We went to Redfish Lake, Idaho. It is where we got engaged last year (the same weekend too). We stayed in a cool cabin and went boatingm, swimming, hiking, and ate a lot. Grandma's cooking is good. It was nice to get away and relax. We are still working on our yard pretty much every spare moment. We are getting sod this Friday. We are really excited since that is the biggest part! We still have a lot to do but it is coming along and my garden is still living. That is about it for us! We are excited for the 4th of July and I think the fireworks idea is good. I will be at my parent's so you are all welcome to come watch fireworks there. Have a good holiday weekend and talk to you soon!

Our Washington D.C. Trip

Casey and I had a really enjoyable trip to Washington D.C. We left on Friday and spent most of the day flying there. We got in at 9:00pm their time. We took a really neat taxi ride to our hotel. We drove by a lot of the monuments all lit up!

We saw a lot of things, but my favorite thing we did was seeing the Monuments. We took a bus tour and got to see everything and hear the history behind it. We went on a night cruise on the Patomic River and saw all the Memorials lit up. It was beautiful!

To see more pictures and hear more about the trip...visit my blog (caseyandbrynnlosee.blogspot.com)

Also, Ashleigh, I loved your pictures from Hawaii...it looks like it was a lot of fun! The 4th of July idea sounds good to me!

Hawaii Trip

Hi Girls!

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer! Congrats to Annie for finishing school a few weeks ago! That's awesome! I updated my blog with pictures and stories from our Hawaii trip. The link to my blog is on the right hand side of the page!

Does anyone have plans for the 4th of July? We should try planning a get together for the PG fireworks...

My Birthday

Hey girls! I had a fun weekend. It was my birthday! Randy and my family had lots of special surprises for me all day long! I went horseback riding with my dad up Dry Canyon in the morning. It was beautiful up there with all the wild flowers! Then Randy surprised me with a one-hour massage down at a day spa in P.G. That night we went out to eat in Salt Lake. Randy blindfolded me after dinner and took me to the Stingers game where my family was waiting for me in a suite. I had no idea they had all of that planned! It was a really fun birthday!

Our St.George/Vegas trip

Casey and I had a fun weekend in St. George and Las Vegas. It was a very relaxing week of reading, Game Cube, XBox, Shopping and lots of eating out! We went to Vegas on Saturday and had fun there. We spent a lot of time at the Bellagio because we love the garden inside and the fountains outside.

It was perfect weather for us while we were there. St. George actually wasn't too hot and Vegas was overcast. On Sunday we layed outside for a while to get some sun. It is so nice to have summer finally here!

The Little Atkin Family

A blog! What a brilliant idea girls. Well, since we're updating everyone on our personal lives, I'll start there. Me & Benny Boo boo are still living in little Spanish Fork. And we will be for maybe another year. Sad. We had big plans to start building our house this spring in West Mountain, but because of the wonderful wet weather we've been having, our Perk Test didn't pass...which means we can't build until next year after we make some adjustments to our wet marshland of a property. Nuts! But, if we're lucky, we may move into a mansion in West Mountain to "House-sit" for a year while an old couple goes on a mission in August. We're crossing our fingers this house-sitting opportunity works out since our apartment is super small...and for those of you who didn't know...we are getting a new addition to the family...which means we will need more room, and a mansion should give us that. Ha ha. Yup I'm going to be a mommy. Our little surprise will be here in November. November 18, 2005 is the due date. It's a little sudden -- but I'm finally starting to accept it and prepare. Which is good since I have no choice. Ha ha.
Ben is working at Spring Lake Elementary this summer teaching summer school. (Spring Lake is above Payson -- like Cedar Hills is to Pleasant Grove). I'm still working at the insurance office. And then Ben will teach 4th grade in the fall and be going to school for his Masters.
Well, if I haven't bored you enough with my exciting life, then you can call, e-mail, or come visit and I'll bore you some more. It's good to see all the posts already on the blog. This is going to be great!

My Girls!

I have realized how much I miss my friends! It was so fun to see some of you at Laura's wedding! I wish we got together more often! My life is kind of interesting right now...I will be finished at BYU this semester (I'll walk in August) and Klane comes home from Tennessee on July 7th! Chris lives in Farmington right now, he moved home after he graduated in April, so we are doing the weekend thing and sometimes we get together on a weekday, but things are good. In August my parents are taking us to Boston, it is for Mike, mine and Chris' graduation, and Klane's welcome home. We are all pretty big Red Sox fans, and after last season, we can't wait to go to Fenway Park. That is about all the excitement that my summer might hold since I will plan to work full time at the Endo office I've been at for 3 yrs. I don't know how long I plan to sick around there (I can only take so much more of Janice), but I figured I need to actually make a little money while I don't have to pay tuition before I try anything new. We'll see...I'll keep you posted!

What is up with Brynn and Casey

Hi everyone! I love this blogger idea! Hopefully this helps keep everyone in the loop! Everything is going good with Casey and I. We bought a home in American Fork this winter, so I am loving this spring getting my yard put together! I also put a little garden together and planted some tomatoes, zuccini, and cucumbers. I am now working on doing some sort of landscape...Casey isn't liking that idea so much!

We are coming up on our first year anniversery, so this weekend we are heading down to St. George and Vegas with my sister and her husband who are also celebrating their anniversery as well. I am excited for that to take a little break! Talk to ya later!

June 6th

Hello Everyone! I hope everything is going well for all of you. Things are going well for me. Just for an update, Spencer and I went to California over the Memorial Day weekend to stay with my sister and her family. We went to San Fransisco and toured my sister's town. We had a bbq and pool party too. It was lots of fun. We have been working on our yard. We started putting sprinklers in on Saturday and pulled a lot of weeds. Boy, am I sore! It is a big job but it will be worth, once we have grass. At lease I hope! We will have all of you over for a bbq and to enjoy the grass soon enough. That is about all the new stuff for the Box's. Just the usual busy stuff. Hope all is going well with each of you and that you are enjoying summer. See ya later.

Welcome Girls!

Brynn, Annie and I were talking last night at Laura's wedding reception, (which was beautiful Laura!) and we decided that we should create a central blog for all of us to update what's happening in our lives! Please read the email I sent you about instructions on how to login, post, and post pictures! Please update often so we can stay in touch and know what everyone is up to! The more pictures, the better!
